EPT Final Tables

05-03-2010 11:40:34 PM

What can you do at a final table in an EPT tournament?

   Here is the scenario:
   2000/4000 blinds
   it is folded to the blinds
   SB = 25k
   BB = 35k
   6 handed on the FT
Action gets to the small bland, the player waits a few, checking their hole cards. SB announces his all-in and stacks his chips to push them in. You are the big blind with Q8 off suit, what do you do?

   Here is the scenario:
   5000/10000 blinds
   UTG = 88k
   UTG + 1 = 57k
   7 handed on the FT

Action is to the player under the gun, player peaks quickly and goes all-in. Next player UTG+1 calls with fewer chips. It folds around and the UTG+1 shows Queens to UTG who has AK off suit. Are you happy with your AK there?

Either way there are several arguments and neither is right or wrong....

More to come toward the conclussion of these scenarios
